Dream Power rescues adoptable companion animals, offering suitable foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Dream Power is a no-kill organization. Our commitment is for the lifetime of the animal.

Over 16000 companion animals animals have been placed since it was founded in 1990.

Dream Power stands behind all adoptions. The animals are given as many chances as needed. We want them back if an adoption does not work out.

The foundation of our operation is our volunteer foster home network, which provides a stress-free, natural setting for animals to heal, socialize and become ready for adoption.

Unlike other organizations that specialize by breed or species, Dream Power has rescued, and will rescue, virtually any type of companion animal.

Dream Power's Humane Education program has visited over 10,000 children since 1997, educating them on animal safety, spaying/neutering and humane treatment. We also visit residents in area nursing homes.

Dream Power requires and encourages the spaying and neutering of companion animals.

Dream Power has assisted low income pet owners with spaying and neutering for almost 2,000 companion animals via Project STOP (formerly Project PAL).

Dream Power operates on donations, endowments, adoption donations and grants.

Dream Power has staff available for behavioral questions and training problems to assist the adopters.

Dream Power is a member of the Colorado Springs Center for Nonprofit Excellence, Colorado Nonprofit Association, Colorado Federation of Animal Welfare Agencies, DOVIA, and the American Humane Association.

Dream Power is a licensed animal rescue through the Colorado Department of Agriculture and is in compliance with the Pet Animal Care Facilities Act.
